Why is the server called Sky COTL Travelers?
Our Discord server is called Sky COTL Travelers because we love Sky: Children of the Light, the world, the community, and the team that created it.
The name comes from our love for traveling through Sky together, meeting new friends, helping each other, joining candle runs, doing Eden, sharing memories, and enjoying the game as a community.
We are a fan-made Discord community created by players who enjoy Sky.
Are you part of Sky or Thatgamecompany?
No. Sky COTL Travelers is an independent fan community. We are not owned, managed, sponsored, or officially connected to Sky: Children of the Light or Thatgamecompany. We simply love the game and created a space for players to hang out, make friends, and play together.
Do you sell Sky merchandise?
No. We do not sell official Sky merchandise, in-game items, cosmetics, candles, hearts, accounts, passes, or anything that belongs to Sky: Children of the Light. Our server is mainly for community, friendship, gameplay, art, and fun.
What is the purpose of the server?
Sky COTL Travelers is a place for Sky players to: find friends, join candle runs, join Eden runs, ask questions, share outfits, share screenshots, talk about Sky, help newer players, hang out with other players, and support trusted community artists. The server is meant to feel friendly, safe, and creative.
Why do you have an art section?
We have an art section because some trusted artists in our community create original digital art. This section is for showcasing their own artwork, commission information, and creative work. The art posted there belongs to the artists who created it.
Is the art official Sky artwork?
No. The art posted by our artists is original artwork made by independent artists. It is not official Sky artwork, official Sky merchandise, or official content from Thatgamecompany.
Can artists sell art through the server?
Trusted artists may share their original art and commission information if they are approved by the server team. Any art offered by artists must be their own original work. Artists are responsible for their own prices, examples, terms, and communication with buyers.
Do you allow people to sell Sky items or accounts?
No. We do not allow selling or trading Sky accounts, in-game items, candles, hearts, cosmetics, passes, or anything that violates game rules or puts players at risk. The only creative section we allow is for trusted artists sharing their original art.
How do you choose trusted artists?
Trusted artists may be reviewed by the server team before being allowed to post commission information or artwork. We look for artists who are honest, respectful, clear about their work, and able to show examples of their original art.
Can I apply to become an artist?
Yes. You can apply through the Artist Application page or the application area in our Discord server. Please include examples of your work, what type of art you create, and any commission information you want reviewed.
Can I join even if I am new to Sky?
Yes. New players are welcome. Whether you are a moth, returning player, veteran, Eden survivor, candle runner, or just someone who wants friends to play with, you can join.
Is the server only for commissions and art?
No. The main purpose of Sky COTL Travelers is still community and gameplay. The art section is only one part of the server. Most of the server is for hanging out, playing Sky, helping each other, and sharing fun moments.

How do I ask about a specific artwork or artist?
If you are interested in an artist’s work, you can email us with the artist’s name and what you are interested in. Please include details like: the artist’s name, the type of art you want, any reference details, and your question or request. Our team will review your message and help direct your inquiry.
Do buyers contact the artist directly?
Some artists may allow direct contact, while others may prefer inquiries to go through the server team first. If you are unsure, email us and we will help point you in the right direction.
Are these official Sky products?
No. The artwork shown on this website is original art from trusted community artists. We do not sell official Sky merchandise, Sky items, in-game cosmetics, candles, hearts, accounts, or anything owned by Sky: Children of the Light or Thatgamecompany.

We do not allow stolen art, copied art, fake examples, misleading commission information, or impersonation of another artist.
